DO not shoot wild hogs-are you kidding-shoot the cattle

The MDC has been putting ads and regulations I might add --Do not shoot feral hogs-call them because only they know how to get rid of them. They are stressing that the hogs are non native animals and are causing massive destruction.Hogs do make a mess but they sure as hell are not the non native species that has caused massive destruction of habitat coast to coast north to south..
The MDC and all other Wildlife departments just look the other way and offer ZERO help with the problem..
 THE PROBLEM IS CALLED CATTLE...They are NON NATIVE
This is especially true in the western states where there is still open range grazing .In my old home states of Washington and Idaho its pretty bad in many spots.In Idaho they are trying to put the blame on wolves...In the high country where the elk need to graze those beautiful meadows to fatten up for the winter you can not find them anymore but if you walk thru the meadows you can not avoid stepping in cow shit and the grasses  are gone and water seepages  stompted  dry..It has also moved out the moose population..In fact its a wasteland for all the critters.

In Washington state same story almost.West of cascade mountains no problem because its all private timber company land and they do not want cattle eating up their new trees,but East of the cascade crest big problem ..USFS property and BLM property and they still sell grazing permits.Some areas it looks like a thousand guys went thru with weed wackers and took out everything.It is so dry you can not believe it..
Now in Missouri where I currently reside Thousands of acres have been bulldozed flat and cattle put in.Right off the bat I was overrun with raccoons and possums and the road floods everytime we get a hard rain.
Is there a motto--Maybe it should be when man moves in everything becomes a problem so we must get rid of it-or maybe man....................
